Recently, a research team led by Yang Zhiming, a specially appointed researcher at the State Council's Counselor's Office and former Party Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, visited Gansu Hailiang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Gansu Hailiang New  Energy Materials"). Accompanying the delegation were Wang Huzhong, Party Secretary and Director of the Gansu Provincial Government Counselor's Office, Wang Liping, First-level Inspector of the Gansu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Dr. Wang Shuguang, Vice President of Hailiang Group and Chairman of Gansu Hailiang New Materials, and Deng Ye, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of Hailiang New Materials.

The delegation conducted an on-site tour of the A1 production workshop, DCS (Distributed Control System), laboratories, and other facilities at Gansu Hailiang New Materials. They attentively listened to the company's production processes, employment conditions, talent structure, and the introduction of research talents. Yang Zhiming remarked that, against the backdrop of the "dual carbon" initiative, Hailiang Group has been proactive in the field of new energy materials, injecting strong impetus into the development of the new materials industry. The company has set an example in scientific research, domesticating imported equipment, talent management through "selection and cultivation," and overall enterprise development. He expressed the hope that Hailiang New Materials would play a demonstrative and leading role in the high-quality development of the province, actively promoting employment, and attracting talents to contribute to the new materials industry.

Dr. Wang Shuguang stated that, within half a year of the commencement of the 150,000-ton high-performance copper foil project at Gansu Hailiang New Materials, the company has delivered products. This achievement, completed one year ahead of similar enterprises, reflects the dedication and perseverance of every Hailiang employee. "Many talents contribute to great undertakings, and the road to innovation depends on acquiring talents."
